Commercial work is a different job from residential in one respect above all: downtime costs money by the hour, and that changes how everything gets scheduled.

We work on small commercial and light industrial premises — retail units, offices, restaurants, clinics, workshops. The projects are planned around trading hours, the disruptive parts happen when the doors are shut, and you get told which is which before anything is booked.

We are a small commercial and light industrial shop. If your project needs a contractor with twenty people on site, we will say so at the first meeting rather than three weeks in.

Quoted per project after a walk-through, with the schedule and the out-of-hours element priced explicitly rather than buried. Maintenance and call-out arrangements are agreed in advance for buildings we look after, so an emergency is not also a negotiation.

About commercial electrical

Can you work outside our opening hours?

Yes, and for most retail and hospitality clients that is the default for anything disruptive. It is priced explicitly in the quote so you can see exactly what the out-of-hours element costs and decide whether a daytime shutdown would be cheaper.

Do you handle the permit and inspection on commercial work?

Yes. Commercial permitting is generally more involved than residential and often needs coordination with a landlord, a general contractor or a fire marshal. That coordination is part of the job rather than something handed back to you.

Is an LED retrofit actually worth doing now?

For a building still running fluorescent tubes or metal halide, usually yes, and the maintenance saving from stopping lamp changes is often bigger than the energy saving. We will give you the numbers for your building and fixture count rather than a generic percentage, and if the payback is poor we will tell you that.
